How now brown cow?

I wanted to share another great Bugaboo digi image with you today.
Sometimes I just spend some quiet time coloring digis and stamped images to have on hand for quick cards.  It's very relaxing.  I like the Bugaboo images because they have nice bold outlines which are great for coloring, paper piecing and fussy cutting.

(I made the sentiment on the computer.)
This card is headed to the following challenges:
Catch the Bug September Challenge - Anything Goes
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #144 - Anything Goes
Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Use a Digi
Flutterby Wednesday Challenge #252 - Autumn Colors

Scarecrows + CTMH Card Class 9/10/13

I've had a long day today, no crafting, although in my running around I did spend a little time (and $) at ACMoore.  Here's a card I made yesterday using a CTMH scarecrow stamp and my own computer generated messsage.

I'll enter it in the challenges below and then I might take a pre-dinner nap.
2 Creative Chicks Challenge #6 - Scarecrow
Sarah Hurley Challenge #84 - Autumn Glow
Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #164 - Anything Goes
Bunny Zoe's Crafts September Challenge - Something Blue
Make It Monday #157 - Anything Goes

We had a nice group gather at Joyce's yesterday for another CTMH card workshop.
Here are the cards that we made:

Pattie's Creations Gift Tag Challenge (Post #2)

I've decided to use 2 of Pattie Gomez's digis, that I won in the last challenge at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge, to make 2 gift tags which I am entering in their new challenge.   For the first tag I used an autumn wreath digi image.  You'll need to go back to the previous post to see that.

For the second tag I printed the vintage ice skate twice to make a pair, colored, fussy cut, pierced and laced the skates, added white glitter gel to the tops and red liquid pearls to make the holly berries.  The sentiment is from CTMH, stamped in cranberry ink and clear embossed.

Besides Pattie's Creations Design Challenge #75 - Gift Tags (no cards),
I am entering this tag the following challenges:
Creative Creations Challenge #18  - Early Christmas Makes
Crafting When We Can Challenge #52 - Repeated Images (ice skate)
One Stitch at a Time Challenge #180 - Use a Digi
Victorine Originals Challenge #67 - Vintage

I have CTMH card class this afternoon.  Come back tomorrow to see what we made.

Tags for Pattie's Challenge (#1)

Pattie Gomez has some really nice digital images in her Etsy Shop.  When I enter her challenge, I always try to use one of her images.  They always choose a random winner and a winner who has used one of her digis.  Perhaps, I should thank other bloggers for not doing likewise because I've won the latter several times now, which gives me even more of her great designs.  The current challenge at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge #75 is Gift Tags (no cards).  I've used the 2 digis I won in their last challenge to make 2 gift tags which I'll be entering in their new challenge.
The autumn wreath is perfect for this season.  After coloring and fussy cutting the wreath, I smooshed it with a clear versamark pad, applied clear embossing powder, heat embossed and then repeated a second time for a real glossy look.

The 2nd tag I made features a vintage ice skate by Pattie.  You'll need to go to the next post to see what I made with that digi.

Besides Pattie's Creations Design Challenge #75, I am entering this tag these challenges:
Great Impressions September Challenge - Fall Colors
One Stitch at a Time Challenge #180 - Use a Digi
Crafts Too Challenge You - Challenge #3 - Week 1 - Texture with a Twist - Choose Your Own Style
(Here I used both frayed burlap and pinked canvas fabric to add physical texture to the tag and also gives it a shabby look, while the embossed and fussy cut image, fancy punched corners and bling are more chic.)
Digitally Sweet Challenge #52 - Anything Goes

I really do have other things to do today but....

I got a reminder email for the Clearly i Stamp Challenge #6 - Thank You Cards.  I really like their stamps and their challenge.  One thing lead to another and voila.....  here is my entry:

I used the Pink Splat digi image and Tickled Pink digi sentiment from Clear Dollar Stamps.  I added the "I'm" on the computer and the "Thanks" is a CTMH stamp.  The splat matched CTMH's Dream Pop paper perfectly, and all the banners are from that paper pack.

I might just pop this card into the In the Pink Challenge #27 - KISS Keep It Simple, also.

Good Mojo Monday Morning!

It's a beautiful day here in PA.

As always, starting my Monday off with a card
following this week's Mojo Monday #310 Sketch

and entering it in their challenge.
I am also sending this card to
Send a Smile 4 Kids and entering it in their challenge -

If this little panda in a pumpkin (a digi image from Doodle Pantry) isn't cute, I don't know what is!

He is definitely an animal, which means he can enter the Brown Sugar Challenge #58.

Have a wonderful day!

Truckin'

I'm going to try and make this a quick post because I have a closet intervention on my agenda today.
This particular closet is where my granddaughter and I kept the stacks of unfinished craft projects, leftovers from finished craft projects and other miscellaneous items we saved for crafting at Nana's.
Granted I still have grandsons with whom I craft, but the boy stuff is elsewhere.  And as for my granddaughter, she has advanced to making a baby of her own.  That means I am going to be a Great Grandmother in March.

OK - let's get truckin' or this won't be quick!

Get it now?  Truckin'  Card with a truck on it.  That's as witty as it's gonna get today.
I have been wanting to use that black polka dot paper for a while and thought it would be perfect with this old truck from My Grafico digital images steampunk set.  The paper has a really interesting texture to it.  I paired it with some barn red textured cardstock and barn red ink for the sentiment for just a bit of color.  As always, I printed the image twice then fussy cut the body of the truck and used 1/8" foam tape to raise it a bit (see the faint shadows?).

This card was made for the following challenges:
Cards in Envy - Masculine Cards (that easily fit in an A2 envelope)
Digi Haven Challenge - Vintage or Old
PunkyyouGirl Challenge - Red and Black
Simply Create Too Challenge #45 - Vintage or Old
Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #62 - It's a Male Thing
Whimsy Stamps Challenge #63 - Masculine cards
Can You Digi It? Challenge #43 - Very Vintage
Digi Sketch Challenge - Vintage and/or Sketch
A Little Bit Crafty Challenge - Clean and Simple
Creatilicious Challenge #54 - For the Boys

Now I'm off to that closet!
Have a great day!
