On to my next project....

Now that yesterday's Mother's Day Luncheon is over, my next order of business is designing cards for the Red Hat Chapter class I am teaching next week.  I had Margaret's chapter, the Regal Regina's Ramblin' Red Rose Chapter, in mind when I made this card.  

The rose, (stamped 3 times, fussy cut, and popped in layers)  is from Sparkle n Sprinkle, and the sentiment stamp is from Close to My Heart. I've used 2 Cuttlebug embossing folders, swiss dot and paisley.

A Bluebell decoupage image, from the Quick Cards magazine I receive, is the focal point of this Mother's Day card.  Isn't this little dear cute, fussy cut and all layered up?  The sentiments are all CTMH stamps.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

This is one of my favorite CTMH paper packs.  I wish they had never retired it.  While cleaning up some craft clutter, I came across a small stash of leftover pieces.  I may be able to make one or two more cards with what remains after making this card for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge # 106.

Clutter

Spring means it is time to clean up the clutter in preparation for the Mother's Day Luncheon I have each year for all the gals in the family.  This will be our 21st gathering.  We have our fingers crossed that Mary and baby Benjamin will make the trip up from Maryland this year.  He is only 10 months old and most of us haven't met him yet.  My niece, Roxanne, and her 4 year old daughter, Ronin, are already on the road, driving all the way in from Chicago.  It's a lot of work, but it is also my Mother's Day gift to my mother, one which she has thoroughly enjoyed for the past 20 years.  

Getting back to the clutter....  I've already gotten the flower beds spruced up.  I've started on the window and curtain washing.  

And then there is the craft clutter.....  

Yeah!  

That's an issue, cause I have tons of craft clutter.  

It would be really cool to get a sunken dining room table, kind of like a pool table, and just have a big wood cover to go over top and hide everything when I need to use the room as it was originally intended.

Sorry, I was dreaming.

While relocating some of the stuff, for lack of a better word, I came across a piece of CS that I cut a little while ago when I came across this card fold.  No time like the present to turn it into a Mother's Day card.

 The front sticker is from K&C Co., stamped sentiments and flowers are CTMH,  EF is Stampin Up, scalloped oval is a Spellbinders die cut, and Skittles are the new summer colors from Double Click.

CTMH Spring Extravaganza

Wow! Do I have cards to show you!  

CTMH Consultants Joyce Houck and Krista Hershberger were the hostesses of a wonderful day of card making and cropping which I attended today. 

Many of the cards featured the CTMH Taste of Summer Papers and coordinating Stamps available only for the month of May.

Not only did we have a fun day of socializing and card making, but we also had some great food.  After a week of digging in the dirt, it was a wonderful day.  And when I got home,  my DH had reduced the mound of mulch in our driveway to a small pile and the flower beds look lovely.

So, I'm guessing you'd like to see the cards I made.  Most of them are tucked into an envelope, some of which are decorated, if you see papers sticking out from underneath the cards themselves.

This is a spinner card. 

If you tuck a $20, $1, and $5 bill next to each other in this gift card holder, you get the year 2015.  Unfortunately, Joyce and Krista did not supply us with the cash, just the idea.

This is a gate fold easel card, with a very messy bow.  I must retie it.
