CTMH challenges

This card was designed with 2 specific challenges in mind, Heart 2 Heart Challenge and Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge.
I've used a leaf embossing folder to give it the feeling of fall because that's apple picking time in this area of Pennsylvania.  That means it is also time to pull out the apple recipes for cobblers, crisps, cakes, pies, fritters and dumplings.  Fresh apple cider appears in the stores.  And a slice of warm bread with butter and fresh, warm applesauce or apple butter is comfort food to me.
In fact, I may have to have some for lunch, after I enter this card in the following challenges:

Crafting From the Heart Challenge #81 - Always Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion Challenge # 283- Always Anything Goes
Allsorts Challenge #332 - No Designer Paper

Imagine That Mistletoe Kitty & CTMH Class 10/13/15

Thanks to Kris at Imagine That and my CTMH consultant, Joyce Houck, I've added 5 more Christmas cards to the pile.
The adorable digi set, Mistletoe Kitty, was sent free to all participants in the September DOTM Challenge at Imagine That for use in the October DOTM Challenge.  For this card I've used the precolored image, just adding a bit of white flock to the hat, liquid glass to the kitty's eyes for gloss and some gold Wink of Stella glitter to the bell.
The sentiment is also from the digi set.

I'll be entering this card in these additional challenges:
A Snowflake's Promise Challenge #7 - Anything Goes Christmas or Winter
Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge - Early Holiday Wishes 4 Kids

 **************
Yesterday was our weekly CTMH Card Class at Joyce's. Here are the 4 cards we made.
(The first two cards below are ones I taught at the stamping show this past week-end.
Our next show is Nov. 7th & 8th in Edison, NJ)
A penny spinner card.

I added the package here at home.

Isn't this pretty with both the gold and silver embossing?

Joyce's Joyful Stars Blog Hop just went live on Friday.  You can check out some more great CTMH cards here.  My favorites this month are Crystal's bendy foldy card with the new Sangria paper, Nancy's steampunk spider card, and Andrea's layout featuring a really neat owl.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #266

Our wonderful sponsor for this week's Watercolor Challenge at Tuesday Throwdown is Freckled Fawn, who generously sent the members of Design Team B fabulous embellishments to use on our inspiration cards.
My mystery package arrived last Monday.  In it I found a sheet of 38 silver puffy sticker hearts from Freckled Fawn.  Perfect timing, because I still needed a few anniversary cards for the coming months.  (Why do couples insist on getting married  at this busy time of year?  I have Christmas cards to make!
I put these puffy stickers to good use making a card to inspire you to join the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge
"Love" overlay is from the CTMH Artistry Cricut Cartridge.

and 2 more to inspire you to hop over to Freckled Fawn's online store and do a bit of shopping.

The pink "Love" card has been entered in the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion Challenge #283 - Always Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Wonderful Watercolor

AHSC & MM

The sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week is a nice easy and versatile one, so I've decided to give it top billing today.  It's a fun challenge to play with few limitations, other than the usual ...being something new, linking to your blog.. and using the sketch.  I don't know why more crafters don't take advantage of their great sketches and play.
Here's the birthday card I've made using this week's sketch:
(Products used are all CTMH; but that's not required to play.)

Challenges I am entering include:

Crafting with Friends Challenge #8 - Always Anything Goes
Simply Paper Craft Challenge #15 - Always Anything Goes

*************
And here is my card for Mojo Monday,
definitely a quick and simple card.  This a precolored digi image and sentiment from Deedee's Designs set "Pumpkin Patch

Challenges into which I am entering this card...

Allsorts Challenge Week 332 - No Designer Paper
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Week  332 - Autumn/Halloween/Thanksgiving/BonFire Night

 Thanks for visiting today!
Can you believe I spent the last 2 days at a stamping show and didn't use one thing that I got there?
I will remedy that later this week because I got those Crazy Birds, and they'll be the first thing I open!

Busy Week-end Coming Up

This week-end is the Heirloom's York (Pennsylvania) Rubber Stamps & Paper Arts Festival.  Once again, I'll be helping my CTMH friends, Joyce Houck and Betty Locco, set up their booth, teach Make & Takes, and then tear the booth back down.  It will be a tiring 3 days, beginning tomorrow, which is why I am posting a second card today.

Yesterday was our monthly Red Hat luncheon and one of the gals will be having some pretty major surgery soon.  I've made this card for her following the Heart 2 Heart Challenge Sketch
The CAS design of this sketch is great.  I pulled out 3 different CTMH stamp sets for the stamping.  Of course, the hat is fussy cut and paper pieced. I used a CTMH embossing folder for the embossed, debossed banners.  And the red and purple circles were die cut using my new La La Land stitched circle dies.

This card will be entered in the ....
Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Sketch (see above)
Scrapy Land Challenge  #27 - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion Challenge #282 - Always Anything Goes
As You Like It Challenge - Monochrome or Colour and Why (I prefer color because with the right combinations it can really make your card and images pop.)
Allsorts Challenge Week 331- Nature (I've used a real feather, how natural is that?)

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
If you are near York, PA, stop by the show and say "HI!".

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

This week's sketch had me puzzled.  Usually something pops into my head.  This week, nothing.  Finally, I just took the package of  CTMH Sparkle and Shine I've been working with and started pulling out scraps to fit the sketch.  Thank heavens for those double sided coordinated papers.  After that, all that was left to do was add an image and I love this Santa.  Now, that wasn't so hard.
(I also used gems, loose glitter, faux stitching, paper piecing, punches, and a brand new embossing folder.)
I am entering this in the following:

A Snowflakes Promise Challenge #7 - Winter or Christmas
Pile It On Challenge #89 - Recipe 1,2,3
(I've used 1 Santa image, 2 punched circles and 3 ruby gems.)

And another Christmas card bites the dust!
