Baby Bear Thinking of You Card

This would have been a very quick one layer card if I hadn't botched the stamping on the kraft card stock.
That's all covered up now.  I switched to a card with layers instead.
The stamp I used is Baby Bear (#21026J) rubber stamp from Stacy Stamp.
(Sentiment stamp is CTMH; die cut is Spellbinders.)

My intention was to make a CAS masculine card.  I think it works fine as a guy card, but the CAS part went right out the window.

Coloring Page Birthday & CTMH Card Class 10/4/16

Today I'd like to share a very simple card I will be mailing to Send a Smile 4 Kids.  It features a Balloon Coloring Page from Bugaboo Stamps.  Rather than doing the coloring myself, I left that for the recipient to do.
The sentiment and balloon are CTMH Cricut cuts.

Simply Create Too Challenge #119 - Black + 1 other color

Fall Mojo Monday

It's the first Monday in October (already?, how'd that happen?) which means that this week is a
Last month I think I entered 5 times, hoping to win a set of Verve stamps, which didn't happen.  I'm not sure that I'll have time to be that aggressive this month, but the sketch is a good one, as always.
Here's what I've made today:

The image is a Bugaboo digi colored with Promarkers and with touches of gold Wink of Stella in her hair.  The tag sentiment is a CTMH stamp embossed in gold.

Halloween Card with Bugaboo Witch

The most adorable part of this little bugaboo digi witch, in my opinion, is that crooked front tooth.
The die cut frame is from ODBD.  I knew that pack of neon colored card bases I found at Tuesday Mornings would come in handy.  I love that the green matches the witch's face perfectly.
(It was just a coincidence.  I was reaching for a white card base when I spied that green.)
Do you think the bats are overkill?

Challenges:
Just Add Ink Challenge #331 - Just Add Wings (bats)
Aud Sentiments Challenge #165 - Anything Goes + a sentiment

Now, that's enough blogging for today.
I'll be back tomorrow with my Mojo Monday Sketch post.

Halloween Birthday

My lovely DIL has a Halloween birthday.
This card is for her.

I've used a sentiment from TLC Creations, and I can't remember where I got the adorable ghost cupcake digi image.
(If anyone can help me with its origin, I'd appreciate it,
so I can get it in the correct digi file and give credit where credit is due.)
The die cuts are from Our Daily Bread Designs, the orange shimmer trim is CTMH, and I used my Craft-Dee Bowmaker for the bow.

Challenges:
Aud Sentiments Challenge #165 - Anything Goes + a sentiment
Craftaholicsrus Challenge #3 - Any Type of Birthday Card
Craft Rocket Challenge #25 - Ribbon and or Lace
Craft-dee Bowz October Challenge - Anything Goes with a handmade bow

Coming right up.... A Halloween card using a cute Bugaboo digi.

Sweet Baby Card

This post was almost finished last evening, but I was just too tired to finish it.  After a good night's sleep, a rare occurence in my world, I'm ready to share it with you. Not only that, but I've made 2 cards this morning that I'll share in separate posts, to make up for not blogging the last few days.

This adorable Doodle Baby Carriage stamp

from Sweet Stamps caught my eye at a stamping show.   I walked the whole show mentally trying to talk myself out of buying it.
 But, I bought it anyway.
There are times when you just can't listen to that stupid, reasonable, party pooper voice in your head and you have to do what makes you happy!

And making this gate fold card with belly band made me happy, too.
Challenges:
Ooh-la-la Creations Challenge #214 - Feminine
Craft-dee Bowz October Challenge - Anything Goes with a handmade bow
Southern Girls Challenge - Pretty in Pastels
Cut It Up Challenge #106 - Pink or Breast Cancer Awareness (I've used La La Land Stitched Circle Dies when making this card.)
Brown Sugar Challenge #218 - Anything Goes
Polkadoodles Challenge #38 - Anything Goes
Broken Fairy Challenge - Monochromatic
Sweet Stampin Challenge - Oh Baby
The Alphabet Challenge - P is for Pretty in Pink

My next post is a birthday card for my lovely DIL.

Recycled packaging

This card uses the picture from the packaging of a Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folder I purchased.
(I saved the plastic, too.  You never know.)

Here's another card using the actual embossing folder:
The crinkle ribbon is from DLArt.
The stamps are from CTMH.
And, yes, I love pumpkin pie!
with grape jelly, of course!
Try it, you'll like it!

Challenges for card #2:
Craft Rocket Challenge #25 - Ribbon and/or Lace
Crafty Ribbons Challenge #169 - Ribbon and/or Lace

Is it just me, or does that chocolate brown card  remind you of a freshly unwrapped, wonderfully glossy, sweet smelling Hershey chocolate bar?  I think I'll go make some chocolate chip cookies.  I like those all year!  And no, not with grape jelly!
