On to my next project....

Now that yesterday's Mother's Day Luncheon is over, my next order of business is designing cards for the Red Hat Chapter class I am teaching next week.  I had Margaret's chapter, the Regal Regina's Ramblin' Red Rose Chapter, in mind when I made this card.

The rose, (stamped 3 times, fussy cut, and popped in layers)  is from Sparkle n Sprinkle, and the sentiment stamp is from Close to My Heart. I've used 2 Cuttlebug embossing folders, swiss dot and paisley.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Inkspirational Challenge #82 - Designer's Choice
(3 of the following: Distressing, Flowers, Embossing, Pearls)
Kraftyhands May Challenge - Lace and Pearls
Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge #79 - Anything Goes + twist: flowers
Cuttlebug Mania Challenge - We Love to Stamp

See you tomorrow for Mojo Monday and probably another Red Hat Card.

Have a lovely Mother's Day!

  11. This rose is amazing.. I feel like I can almost reach out and touch the soft petals... I think it is your wonderful shading that makes it look so realistic..

  12. What a fantastic card! I know that fussy cutting must have been a chore, but the layered flower looks great! I also like how you paired the red and purple. That is not a combination I typically think of, but it totally works. Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational!
