Wish I were a bear.

Have you ever read this poem?

I Wish I Were A Bear
-----------------------------------
I wish I were a bear.
If you're a bear, you get to hibernate.
You do nothing but sleep for six months.
I could get used to that.
And another thing; before you hibernate,
you're supposed to eat yourself stupid.
That wouldn't bother me either.
IF you're a mama bear,
everyone knows you mean business;
you swat anyone who bothers your cubs.
If your cubs get out of line, you swat them, too.
Your husband expects you to growl when you wake up.
He expects you to have hairy legs and excess body fat.
He likes it.
I wish I were a bear.

I don't know who the author is, but I think it's cute.  I complained the other day about shaving my legs and one of my dearest and tallest friends said,  Honey, why bother?  Nobody's gonna look way down there, anyway.  (I'm 4'10".)
I just love her, and she's right!

I met another of my longest and dearest friends while attending college.  The school mascot was a grizzly bear.  Our sorority mascot was also a bear.  For over 40 years I have been faithfully sending her items for her birthday and Christmas with bear themes.  (I have the cutest bear cell phone holder to send her later this month for her birthday.  I found it in FL last winter.)  When I selected this stamp from Stacy Stamps  I had her in mind.  I recently uncovered it, never used, in a pile of stuff.
Thought I'd make a simple masculine card and give the stamp a test run.

(sentiment stamps are CTMH)

There are 5 layers to the card, the base, light green vellum, brown CS, striped DP, and the image stamped on white CS.  I added 4 small dazzle stickers to the corners, used a Wink of Stella glitter brush on the butterfly wings, sponged some blue and green on the top and bottom of the image, and just touched the flower tips with a marker.
