Free For All at Dee Dee's Digis August Challenge

It's hard to believe that there are only 11 more days in August.  Time to get busy making cards for my favorite monthly Progressive Challenges before it's too late.  My first card is for the August Progressive Challenge at Dee Dee's Digis.
If you haven't participated in Dee Dee's Digis Challenge before, this is the perfect time to start!  Stop by the Dee Dee's Digis blog and pick up the free digis she is providing this month to get you started.  Then if you play, next month you'll receive a new set to use in September's Challenge, and so on.
The set for this month is called seasonal baskets and I love it.
With a basket for each season, you could make a nice set of cards.  I also want to try sizing them down to inchies and making a waterfall card.  Today I just made a simple card, using the precolored image for fall.  After assembling the card, I decided to give it a spritz of shimmer mist.  Now I'm not sure I like it.   Maybe I'll reprint the basket and pop a new, unspritzed one on top.
(The image sort of looks like the pollen stain I got on my favorite khaki capris and can't get out.  BTW, I'm open to any stain removal advice!  Shout, Zout, Oxyclean, and bar soap have not worked.)

  1. I like this color combo! I have too stained my clothes using those sprays! (it does seem to fade over many washes)

  2. Debi, you did a marvelous job with this image and I love the paper work along the side of your card. You also have a fantastic idea to use these as inchies. I never would have thought to do that, but now you've got my mind working. Thanks for the great idea. Also thanks for playing along with us here at Deedee's DOM challenge. Can't wait to see what you come up with for next month. Enjoy your upcoming weekend.

  3. Debi, this is fabulous!!! I love the design you used. I have some of that patterned paper and have never thought to use it for chevrons but it's just beautiful for that. Thanks so much for the inspiration! Also thanks for joining us at Deedee's this month too.

  5. Your paper design reminds me of a quilt. I agree I like the spritz on the white paper but maybe not on the basket. Thanks for playing in the Digi of the Month Challenge at Deedee's Digis.
