Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards: Day 5 & Double Trouble Challenge #14

Beccy threw me a curve today by giving the challenge at
Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards this color theme.

Luckily, I found a few things in my stash and a digi image and sentiment by Beccy to make this card.

The Double Trouble Challenge requires a Christmas or Holiday theme, something hanging (The pears are hanging on the tree.) and an entry in the Try Stamping on Tuesday Tic Tac Toe Challenge.
(Diagonally, my card has green, a tree, and plaid washi.)

Yippee! I combined all three!

  2. What a pretty card. I forgot about this image from Beccy. It will go great with the paper I used on my last card. Great coloring!

  3. I love your partridge in a pear tree! Quite crafty using pears as your hanging item, but absolutely will get you on the nice list :) Thanks for being a huge supporter of Double Trouble and for also picking Twisted Sisters row and giving it such a different look.

  4. I love the occasional curve ball Debi... it keeps everyone on their toes! It looks like you had no trouble at all with the challenge, your card is fabulous. I really love that plaid background paper, the autumn colours are warm and gorgeous. Fabulous!

  7. Good job on your non-traditional color combination challenge for a Christmas card...pears are excellent for something hanging. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and our partner TSOT's TicTacToe challenge.

  10. Great take on both of the challenges - and I love the idea of a duck in a pear tree instead of a partridge! Thanks for joining us at Try Stamping On Tuesday this week.
