Here is the sketch for this week:

 

So, the other day I came across a cute iris fold Christmas card on Pinterest.  I sent a copy of it to a friend who wondered how to go about recreating it.  I was certain I could figure it out.  First, I checked this week's TMS challenge sketch to see if I could "kill two birds with one stone", pun intended.  Luckily, I found that by rotating this sketch to the right 90 degrees and changing the circle to an oval I could make my DT card for this challenge.

    What an awesome card!! Love your iris fold bird! I've wanted to try this technique but never have. Great inspiration!

    Iris folding! You did iris folding. Oh my goodness - this is brilliant. I haven't done iris folding in years and it's perfect for this Christmas bird. Wonderful job Debi!

    This is sooo cool Debi! I've never done an Iris card, truth be known I'm a little intimidated! You have inspired me so much I just may be able to conjure up the courage one of these days lol.
