At one time, I did a lot of paper piercing to get that stitched look on my cards.  And then the stitched dies appeared. They are now my preferred method of  'sewing' .  Here are two cards I made using the recipe, a punny sentiment, and the sketch from Try A Sketch on Tuesday.

It's always fun playing in these two challenges.

  2. Hard to choose between these 2 great designs. Love them both, enjoy the snarky sentiment and I really like the addition of the twine on the 2nd one. Thanks for joining us at Double Trouble, Johanna DT

  3. Both cards are so beetle-liciously fun! haha That's a cute stamp set (I have it, too!) and you've used it perfectly with the sketch. Thank you for sharing at Double Trouble.

  5. Debi, how clever to use floral pattern paper for the background of your super cute bugs! I, too, like the stitching look that dies gives us these days. I still have old paper piercing plastic templates I used "back in the day" to create stitching. Thank you so much for using our Try A Sketch On Tuesday sketch, and Double Trouble's 3-2-1 challenge recipe!!! -Donna
