Send a Smile 4 Kids August 2025 Challenge

The theme for the August Challenge at

Follow SAS4Kids on Facebook!
is
"Anything Goes".

Anything Goes for kids is always acceptable.
We just want to see your wonderful creations
and hope you enjoy making and sharing them!

Do you save scraps?  I do.  Long skinny strips of paper are so useful.  I have a separate container just for them.  This card layout is perfect for 1/4" strips.  There are several versions of this card on Pinterest and Facebook and I have been wanting to try it.

The cute little robot, gears, and sentiment are stamps from a
SU Paper Pumpkin kit.  I think I'll make a few more of these with different shapes and stamps.  Super fun to make!
And I think it will put a smile on some child's face.

It would be great if you joined the fun at the
(Cards only, please.)
Your cards need not be donated, but if you plan to do so, check the current needs of the volunteers and the deadlines on the Send A Smile 4 Kids Blog.

Please take some time and visit the fabulous blogs of my teammates.  They work so hard and are very creative!

Oh, don't leave yet!
I have another card to share before I put it in the SAS4Kids box.

Everything on this card was just cluttering up my work table.
I think I have enough empty space to do some sewing now.

Thanks for visiting!

  2. Such cute cards, Debi! And that strip idea really caught my eye. I have been playing around with those Taylored Expressions Easy Strip Templates, cutting out lots of strips. So this is another great option for using those up. Thanks for sharing this idea. Going to try it out this weekend!
