Double Diamond Easel Birthday Card

This card is for Rachel at Farmhouse Memories, which is a fabulous place to find scrapbook and card supplies and lots of fabrics in Paradise, PA.  Rachel is always there with a smile and tons of knowledge to help her customers.
I thought a special card was in order for this very special person.
How about a Double Diamond Easel Fold?
I even added a strip of matching CTMH dp to the envelope flap.
Rachel's birthday was today, so the card will be late when she receives it.

Birthday Ice Cream

It's such a beautiful day outside,
I'm afraid I'll have to make this post brief.

I came across a couple unfinished card fronts that only needed an image.  Bugaboo had the perfect digi to go with this ice cream paper from SU.
Looks like poor kitty may have a bit of a brain freeze!

Challenges:
Alphabet Challenge - E is for earthbound animals

Send a Smile 4 Kids June Challenge

The theme for the June Challenge at

is Cards 4 Teens and Tweens

or Anything Goes 4 Kids.

Don't you just love the vast selection of sneakers available today, especially the colors?  I've come to identify the boys on my grandson's soccer team by their shoes.
When I spied this paper in my stash, I knew it would be perfect for this month's theme.

If you are interested in making and donating cards to SAS4K, you can find all the information you need right here.

Cards entered in the challenge do not need to be donated.
I hope you'll enter this month's SAS4K Challenge.

Double Trouble Challenge #58

Today I'm sharing a masculine card with lots of circles that is also entered in the Use Your Stuff challenge, so Trouble Maker, Twisted Sister and Double Dare at Double Trouble Challenge #58 should all be happy.

The DAD stamps are from SU; everything else is CTMH.
I started out stamping the letters on gray cs, fussy cut them, and then decided I didn't like them.  I also dry embossed the background with a gear design, but it doesn't show up very well.

And since I already had the gray letters ready to use, I did.

Both cards will work well for Father's Day, birthday, or just about any occasion.

Challenges:
Unicorn Challenge #55 - Masculine
Ike's World Challenge #133 - R is for Round (circles on paper and round metal studs)
Cuttlebug Mania Challenge - Father's Day (background is dry embossed with a gear design)
Cardz 4 Guys Challenge #246 - Father's Day
Use Your Stuff Challenge #399 - Masculine/Father's Day
Double Trouble Challenge #58 - Masculine, circles, play at UYS
Paper Fun Day Challenge #18 - AG option: masculine
Lil Red Wagon Challenge #552 - patterned paper or design your own backgroundpaper

Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #557

Welcome to my blog.
It's Tuesday and I have a new card for

Tuesday Morning Sketches to share with you.
Tuesday Morning Sketches
Melissa Craig supplied this week's sketch.  Thanks, Melissa!

This is what I did with this fun sketch.
I am giving myself a pat on the back for fussy cutting these little critters including the three legged, three toed reptile.  And, NO, I did not amputate any digits or appendages while cutting.
Although, I may have trimmed a few cactus thorns.

Will you play along with us at

Recipe Challenge at CTB

Yesterday I made a card for the current Recipe Challenge at Catch the Bug.  Searched through my Bugaboo digis, printed a few, colored and cut and assembled my card.
Next step was posting.
And this was when my plans came to
a screeching halt.
(Maybe that was me screeching.)
The Challenge blog said,
"The Recipe is as easy as 123

1 Ribbon, 2 Flowers, 3 Layers".
My card had 1 ribbon, 3 Flowers and 2 Layers.

Today I made a second card for the
It has 1 ribbon, 2 flowers (in the image) and
3 layers.

 Additional Challenges:
Just Us Girls Challenge #538 - 2 or more patterned papers,

Crafty Catz Challenge #508 - AG option: at least 2 layers
As You Like It Challenge - Favorite Embellishment (I love ribbons, lots of shapes, sizes, colors and patterns making them super versatile)

Aud Sentiments Challenge #252 - Flowers + a sentiment

and here is yesterday's card, too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I'm off to bake an apple cake
and I will be certain to follow the recipe exactly!
