Double Trouble Challenge #115

 Christmas in July

is the theme for the Double Trouble Challenge #115.

When it is this hot and humid, it's a bit hard to get in the holiday spirit.   But, I thought I'd give it a try.

My Christmas Stash has a lot of odds and ends from previous years.  The last few years I have made a concerted effort to use up a lot of old stuff before I buy new.  And I'm doing just that, one strip at a time.

Today I've chosen papers that have the colors in the top row of the Crazy  8 Color Dare Challenge #503 (which I am also entering) and used a flower theme.

That should make all the Things happy.

  1. Fabulous design, and a fun way to use those strips. Really a pretty Christmas card! Thank you for sharing with us at Double Trouble.

  2. This is such a great way to use up those scraps - we all have them! Love the design and the poinsettia! Thanks for sharing with us at both Double Trouble and Colour Dare :)

  3. Love how you used all those Christmas strips! Thank you for joining us at Color Dare!

  4. Love all the scraps of patterned papers for your quilt-like background with choices of color within the Crazy 8 Color Challenge, great job. And wow, what a lovely arrangement of your poinsettia flower... beautiful Christmas card and thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Color Dare.
