Holiday and Sketch Challenges at MFT

Today I'm sharing two holiday cards for challenges at My Favorite Things.   I discovered I have lots of stamps and dies from MFT but very few of them are Christmas themed.  Perhaps I'll be fortunate enough to win one of the challenges and I'll be able to purchase a few.

Challenge #668 at My Favorite Things is a sketch challenge. Following this sketch:

I made this card:

(The die cut image and snowflakes are MFT products)

The October Ready, Set Christmas Card Challenge at MFT simply asks for a newly created Christmas card.  Here's mine:

(The die cut image and trees are MFT products)

Both of these cards are already in the box I'll be sending off to Send a Smile 4 Kids.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Sorry the kitchen floor is so dirty, but I've been crafting instead of mopping!

Not a Halloween Card

My daughter-in-law's birthday falls on Halloween.

Normally, I would make her a card with that theme.  But this year I am switching things up and making her a regular birthday card.

Birthdays can be scary enough on their own!

Thing #1 at the current Double Trouble Challenge #150 is requesting cards of any nature as long as they have fancy flowers but no patterned paper.  My fancy flowers were made with a SU embossing folder.   Sorry Twisted Sister but no bugs on this card.  But I will take Thing #2's Double Dare and also enter the Crafter's Cafe Challenge #302, Flowers.

Stay Pawsitive

Using a stamp from AI (Art Impressions),  this card is meant for a dear friend who is rehabbing from her second stroke.

I am entering Challenge #176 at Lost Coast Design.

The theme is Cats.

LCD is one of the many sponsors of the Christmas Kickstart Challenge

Additionally, I am entering the Crazy for Cats Challenge # 12 where Anything CAT goes.

Warm Wishes

This month I am participating in

The Cat Lovers Christmas Kickstart Challenge

This is my cat card #4  for the Christmas Kickstart challenge.

(This digi image is from Tiddly Inks.)

Discovery of the day:  Taking a photo of a card with shiny gold foil on the front without getting a reflection of yourself in the picture is kind of difficult.

Additional Challenges I am entering:

Girlz Creative Christmas Challenge #42 - Stitching Real or Faux (I've used stitched rectangle dies.

Krafty Chicks Challenge #685 - Christmas

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Christmas

It was so nice of you to visit!  Please come again!

Tic Tac Toe Cat Card

This month I am participating in

The Cat Lovers Christmas Kickstart Challenge

This is my festive cat card #3 for the month long challenge.

The card follows the middle horizontal row of the Tic Tac Toe board  for Day #8's Christmas Kickstart Challenge with Gail.

It has a glitter sentiment and bow on the die cut tag which is made from 1/4" scraps of patterned paper.

The digi kitty is by Gerda Steiner.

I am also entering this card in Challenge #12 - Anything CAT Goes at Crazy for Cats Challenges

And, I am also sharing my card at the Gerda Steiner October 2023 Share Your Design Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
