Blue Birthday Card with a Bird

Alliteration - a succession of similar sounds;
One of the literary terms I learned in 8th grade.  We were all excited when we met our 8th grade English teacher.  She was a knock-out.  Gorgeous auburn hair (not from a bottle), that she always wore in a chic french twist.  She was fresh out of college.  But she was a tough cookie, which is why I still remember most of those literary terms and a lot more.  We all kind of scratched out heads when she started dating and eventually married one of the other teachers.  He was all but bald before he was 30!
Now, how did I get started on that?
Yes, my title.
Blue Birthday Card with a Bird
This is a special card for a woman with whom I used to work for her 80th birthday.  (We had a really great group of gals who worked well together at the law firm and have remained friends even after the firm dissolved.  Unfortunately, the attorneys didn't work together quite as well.)  The girls will be gathering for a birthday dinner in her honor tomorrow evening.  I am almost finished crocheting a scarf  to accompany this card.
I had the cricut machine buzzing this morning.  All the cuts were made using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge.  I've used an older CTMH stamp set and sheer ribbon in a quadruple bow and some of the new fundamental paper.

This card is headed for the following challenges:

Gotta fly now!

    Interesting about your English teacher. I had a 9th grade English teacher who was a tough one, too. And she was single and wore her hair always in a French twist, too!! How funny! She married later but not one of our other teachers! LOL Thanks for sharing that story....I loved it!
    And thanks for joining us at Through the Craft Room Door challenge. Good luck and hope you come back next week!
