Beccy's Place Day #3 + Heart 2 Heart

Look what I found!
Some old, retired CTMH Evening Song paper.
This paper was new when I first started stamping.  It would be wonderful if CTMH would bring it back sometime.
I was looking for paper that would compliment this beautiful digital poinsettia image from Beccy's Spirit of Christmas digital set, since Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards Challenge Day #3 theme is use a digital image.

I created this as a window card for the current challenge theme at Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Through the Window.  The tutorial here on the House of Cards blog, where I will also enter this card in their November Challenge - Stamped, Cut Window technique,  is very simple to follow if you'd like to try it.

Additional challenges:
The Glory of Christmas Challenge #71 - Add Glitter and/or Shine
Vintage Stamping Challenge #38 - Traditional Christmas
Use Your Stuff Challenge - Use Old Stash (paper and stamp)
A Snowflakes Promise Challenge #9 -  Christmas or Winter Themed
Winter Wonderland Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes

OK, Beccy, what do you have in store for Day #4?

  9. Wow Debi, your card is absolutely beautiful! The background paper you used is perfect for the image... great choice. I was sorry to read that it's an old piece you had in your stash, I agree that it should be re-released. I love the window design and I also love the circle dies you used with the embossed stitching. Beautiful.
    Cheers,
    Beccy
P.S. You've probably already seen that day 4 is "Wreaths", so here's a hint for day 5.... "it's all about the sentiment".

  23. Stunning card! The paper you have used is just so perfect for the poinsettia and our theme. The gorgeous added texture to the red circle frames the poinsettia beautifully, I worry that the poinsettia would get lost without it. Thank you so much for entering our November Challenge. I hope we see you again for the December challenge Karen P (DT House of Cards)
