Beccy's Place Day # 6

Christmas Carol Inspiration is the theme for Day # 6 of Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards Challenge.

Featuring one of my favorite Christmas Carols, O Holy Night, this Our Daily Bread Designs Christmas stamp has been on the craft table, just waiting to be inked up.    I added a banner and the Peace sentiment from an ODBD paper pack, over a piece of burlap.

Beccy's Place Day # 5

Thank you, Beccy, for your excellent tutorial on Adding Shadows, the theme for Day # 5 of Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards.
(I may have a few extra shadows, myself, this morning after playing soccer and basketball with my grandsons yesterday afternoon.  Best night's sleep I've had in a while!)
Usually I fussy cut and pop images, but with some well placed shadows you can give the same appearance.  I tried it using one of the digital poinsettias from Beccy's Poinsettia Set.

OK, Beccy.  Ready for Day # 6.
Bring it on!

Buried "To Do" List Uncovered Just in Time!

How my "To Do" list, which usually has a spot front and center on the kitchen table, got buried under the chaos on my craft table I do not know.  But, luckily, I came upon it this morning with enough time to get a birthday card made and in the mail before the mailman made his rounds.  Now, hopefully, it will arrive at its destination on Monday when Angie will be celebrating her 97th birthday.
Birthday stamp is CTMH.  Bird is fussy cut from a sheet of Bo Bunny paper.

Beccy's Place Day # 4

Just Stamping.
No markers, no pencils, no watercolors.
Just Stamping.

(and a bit of fussy cutting, a cricut cut snowflake, some embossing, a bow, and a few gems)
It only took Beccy 5 minutes to make her 'Just Stamping' card.
My card took a bit longer.  Heck, it took 5 minutes just to pick up and place those tiny gems.  The stamps are from CTMH and the dp was a magazine freebie.
Challenges:
Unicorn Challenge #15 - Snowflakes
Amusing Challenge - Anything Goes

See you all tomorrow for Day # 5!

Beccy's Place Day # 3

In Australia it's already Day # 3 at Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards Challenge.  The theme is Night Sky.
When I inked this stamp (borrowed from a friend and I do not know the brand, sorry), I inked the bottom half in Ponderosa Pine ink and the top half in Blue Denim Ink.  I stamped the image then added some blue sponging, and some white sponging,  tapped the top half with the versa mark ink pad and sprinkled  just a pinch of clear embossing powder and a pinch of silver embossing powder across the night sky before heat embossed.  I went over the stamped stars with a white pen and added gems.  The trees have a bit of white flocking for snow.  The embossed sentiment is a CTMH stamp on a die cut oval and mounted on a punched circle then popped on the card.
(That was a bad idea because I was holding the jar upside down when I opened it and the contents of the jar did not fit into the lid.  Yep, white flocking everywhere.  It wasn't quite as bad as when I hit my elbow on the table 2 days ago when putting the lid on the little jar of teeny tiny glass beads and I had glass beads everywhere.  And yesterday I had an issue with the gold embossing powder.  Can't wait for tomorrow's crafting adventure!

Beccy's Place Day # 2

Cards for Day # 2 of  Beccy's Place A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge need to feature a wreath.
Here's mine:
Now I'm off to get the Undo.  That circle of Joy is crooked.

BTW, these stamps are all from CTMH.
The stitched circle dies are from La La Land.
And, the designer paper was a free gift from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.

Beccy's Place Day #1 & CTMH Card Class 11/1/16

It's the 1st of November.  Time to flip the calendar and get busy making cards for the Month of Holiday Cards Challenge at Beccy's Place.  The Challenge for Day #1 is to use your favorite color combo.  I like to use a lot of gold at Christmas and pair it with red.

Here I've fussy cut a precolored poinsettia digi image and used a quote from Beccy's Poinsettia Set.  I glued teeny tiny gold glass beads to the center of the poinsettia and gave the whole flower a shot of gold Shimmer Mist.  Two different embossing folders were used on the gold background and scalloped oval die cut.  The bow and red glitter tape are from CTMH.

I hate to get behind!
