a new card to share with you each week for
Here's the sketch for this week and my card.
This birthday card is for a guy who, according to the inside sentiment, isn't over the hill, just on top enjoying the view. I'm entering this in the new challenge at Double Trouble, which is why I made a scene, included a mode of transportation, and will also enter it in The Paper Players Challenge.
The sentiment is a CTMH stamp, the bear is a from Stacey Stamps, and the balloons are from Hampton Art.
Challenges:
Double Trouble Challenge #66 - Scene, Transportation, PPC#207; The Paper Girls Challenge #207 - Around the World; Crafty Animals Challenge #42 - AG with an animal; Creative Craft Cottage Challenge #133 - include an animal; Scribbles Design Challenge #91 - The Great Outdoors

It may look difficult, but is really very easy. The directions were in this week's SCS Weekly Inkling. Would you believe there are only 4 scores? The question I always have is - how will the recipient know how to unfold the card so that it will look like this? My DH thinks I should enclose a picture.
Not bad for my first try.
I made it simple intending to send it to my 10 year old nephew, at least I think he's 10, maybe he's only 9. Whatever. Now my brain is thinking of how I could make this style card and really dress it up with die cuts, flowers, ribbons, bling.....
Challenges:
Creative Fingers Challenge #192 - AG; Try It On Tuesday Challenge - Neat and Tidy; Unicorn Challenge #58 - For a child; Scor-Pal More Than One Score Challenge #74 - School/Storage or AG; Crafting Happiness Challenge #64 - AG
A freshly made card for the new challenge

Additional challenges I am entering: Aud Sentiments Challenge #259 - AG + a sentiment; Krafty Chicks Challenge #523 - Stamp Act; Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Stamp It In September; Try It On Tuesday Challenge - Neat and Tidy
This is my second entry for DTC #65. Although the main challenge theme is Something, Anything and Everything, Twisted Sister has requested a phone on the cards. It is an optional twist, which I didn't include on my first card. Then I checked my stamps and my digis and this is the closest thing I could find, a digi from Gerde Steiner with a phone, of sorts.
Ever make a tin can telephone? My next door neighbor and I had a set. The tough part was getting the "phones" between her second floor bedroom and my second floor bedroom. And then they didn't work anyway.
This simple card is being entered at Double Trouble Challenge #65 and the Anything Goes September Challenge #42 at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies.
