Tuesday Morning Sketches

Today's agenda included making a card to enter in the new challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  After receiving a bit of sad news, I looked at the sketch and wasn't so sure that I would be able to use it for a sympathy card.
I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
 Here's the sketch:

The dies I used are from Spellbinders with the exception of the little flower which is from MFT.
I used a pale lavender embossed velum from SU, and plain velum over a piece of purple paper to get a similar color for the raised layer.  For the flower I used the purple paper with glitter foil over top.  The sentiment is a CTMH stamp.

  1. This is so pretty, Debi! You made the sketch work for a sympathy card and it's beautiful! I love your fancy die cuts! So sorry that you needed a sympathy card - I always find them tough to make. I'm glad our sketch could inspire you and I'm always happy to see you join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches! Thank you for supporting our challenge!

  2. Beautiful sympathy card! They are always difficult to make, but I'm sure this was an encouragement to the recipient.
