Yesterday was the beginning of Nurses Appreciation Week.
I've used a cute stamp set from My Favorite Things to make a couple cards for the occasion. These will be great to mail off to Send A Smile 4 Kids. Thankfully, some of the children's hospitals are beginning to accept card donations once again.
This first card follows the sketch at
My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #540.
And the second card follows the sketch at
Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #505.
TSOT had an optional theme to use pastel colors, so I chose my papers accordingly.
Both images were hand colored with a combination of markers and pencils.
This is such a special card of appreciation, Debi! Perfect interpretation of our sketch and great pastel colors. Thank you for joining us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #505.
ReplyDeleteLove this, Debi - what a perfect card for a guy nurse, right down to the papers! Thanks so much for playing at TSOT!
ReplyDeleteGreat nurse cards, Debi! I like them both, however the one you made based on our Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch is especially nice with its subtle colors. Thank you for sharing with us at TSOT!!! -Donna
