Look! I've added a new gadget to my blog!
I'm surprised I remembered how to do that!

The Cat Lovers Christmas Kickstart Challenge
this month,
but only if you like cats and prizes.
Here's my cat card #1 for the challenge:
Since I make a lot of cards for Send A Smile 4 Kids, cute animal cards are my favorites. This card has a background I made from CTMH paper scrap strips, then embossed and added a fussy cut precolored digi from Deedee's Digis on a die cut oval.
Challenges:
Cat Lovers Christmas Kickstart Challenge #79 - Christmas + cat themed
Digi Choosday Challenge week 39 - AG
Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #149- AG

Thanks for stopping by.
Using up scraps and then embossing them is a great way to create a background. Your little cat is adorable. Thanks for joining us at MMM.
ReplyDeleteHello, Debi! I am so excited to see your card at the Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge! It's so cute with that adorable stocking kitty, and it will be purr-fect for SAS4K! Your background from scraps looks amazing, especially with the embossing! I recognize that kitty as Deedee's Digis - Stocking Pal Oscar as I was on her DT for awhile, many years ago. I have a big collection of her adorable digis and that one is sweet.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful weekend - we have sunshine and blue skies, but Hurricane Philippe is on its way for tomorrow. Hoping it won't be that bad but who knows. Stay safe and well, my friend.
You are right about it being a Deedee's Digi image. I fixed the post. Thanks for keeping me in line! Hugs, my friend!
DeleteDang, that's an awesome scrappy background! I love the look with the embossing, too - so festive! And of course, super cute kitty, lol. Thanks so much for playing at Make My Monday!
